This past weekend our family decided to take our first camping trip. We spent 3 days at Mueller Park in Colorado Springs, CO. It was the first family trip we took just the four of us. We had so much fun hanging out by the fire and even getting snowed on all day Saturday. Ainslee was really funny. She was so excited to be there and loved walking around exploring. Kamdyn was a great assistant to John in collecting firewood for our fires. She enjoyed being there other than the toilets. She didn't like the fact that they were a never ending toilet. John was excited to be able to be outdoors and use his camara to take pictures of the scenery. We all enjoyed listening and singing along to the guitar while John played. It was so nice to be with the family and be away from the distractions that life brings. We are looking forward to camping more often now that we live in a state that has mountains.
